November 2022 General Election: Mobile ballot drop-off events held at local libraries

The Philadelphia City Commissioners is holding mobile staffed ballot drop-off events at various Philadelphia Free Library branches ahead of the November 8th General Election. Personnel from the Board of Elections will be on hand to collect voted Absentee and Mail-in ballots.

Here’s the schedule of such events in West and Southwest Philadelphia:

• Tuesday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m.-4 p.m.:

Overbrook Park Library, 7422 Haverford Ave

• Wednesday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m.-4 p.m.:

Lucien E. Blackwell Library, 125 S 52nd St

• Thursday, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m.-4 p.m.:

Wynnefield Library, 5325 Overbrook Ave

• Friday, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m.-4 p.m.:

Eastwick Library, 2851 Island Ave

• Monday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.:

Paschalville Library, 6942 Woodland Ave.

In addition to these mobile events, voters can also use the 24/7 ballot drop boxes and the Board of Elections Office at City Hall, Room 140. Voters may only drop off their own ballot, unless the voter is physically unable to personally submit their Absentee or Mail-in Ballot and has designated an agent to deliver their ballot. The completed forms should be submitted with the ballot.

Absentee and Mail-in ballots must be received by the County Board of Elections before 8pm on Election Day, November 8th.

    And once again the area between 39th and 46th, market to Spruce where there’s a number of senior buildings along with other residents who the drop boxes are too far are completely ignored
