Community Education Center/Meeting House Theatre

HopePHL invites community members from Belmont, Mantua, Mill Creek, Saunders Park, and West Powelton to the Community Education Center (CEC), 3500 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia on Friday, 12/08 from 430pm to 730pm for the eighth annual Kwanzaa Fire & Ice Event. Musical performances by the incomparable Jahwula Seapoe and the unforgettable Kenny Sykes. Throughout the event will be a bonfire and an ice sculpture on display. this year: presentation by the West Philadelphia Reading Captains, and cooking demonstration by Sugga Mommas. Giveaways include a craft activity, turkeys, wreaths, and refreshments from Electronic Eats food truck – while supplies last.
