Here are some new options where you can buy fresh, locally grown produce in West Philly.

Pandemic Pantry Farm Stand

The Pandemic Pantry in association with Third Wheel Cheese are operating a retail farmstand at 705 S. 50th St. Produce is sourced directly from local farms and farmer cooperatives and includes plenty of certified organic options. The farmstand is open on Fridays from 3-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May through November. Follow the Pandemic Pantry on Instagram for more info and updates.

Freedom Greens + Gardens Garden Market

Get Fresh Daily, a wellness organization that focuses on healthy, plant-based living for the Black community, is offering produce boxes filled with fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers from local farms and gardens at their garden located at 52nd and Pine. You can preorder a box online for pick-up in front of the Global Leadership Academy building. Orders can be picked up every other Thursday from 3-6 p.m. through November.
