Thanksgiving closings, hours, schedule changes

Here’s information on SEPTA’s Thanksgiving holiday service, city service changes, and closings/special hours at some local stores and cafés. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

SEPTA

• Buses, trains, and trolleys will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving Day.
• Broad Street and Market-Frankford Line trains will operate with all-night service beginning Thursday, Nov. 22 at 12:01 a.m. Regular Owl Bus service will resume Friday, Nov. 23 at 12:01 a.m.
• On Friday, Nov. 23, Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 15, 34, and 36 and several bus routes will operate on a Modified Weekday schedule. 

Trash/Recycling Pick-up

There will be no trash/recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day. It will resume on Friday, Nov. 23 and will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of the week.

Grocery/Liquor Stores

• The Fresh Grocer (40th and Walnut) – Open 24 hours
• The Fresh Grocer (56th and Chestnut) – Thursday, Nov. 22: 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Mariposa Food Co-op  (48th and Baltimore) – Thursday, Nov. 22: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Supremo Food Market (43rd and Walnut) – Thursday, Nov. 22: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Fine Wine & Good Spirits (all locations) – Closed on Thanksgiving Day

Coffee Shops

• The Green Line Cafe (all locations) – Closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23
• Milk & Honey Market (45th and Baltimore) – Closed Thursday, Nov. 22; Friday, Nov. 23: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
• ReAnimator Coffee (47th and Pine) – Thursday, Nov. 22: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 23: Regular hours.
