Below is information on schedule changes for SEPTA and city services and special hours and closings at some local shops, cafes and restaurants. SEPTA

Buses (except Route 204), Trains, and Trolleys will operate on a SUNDAY schedule on Christmas Day (Monday, Dec. 25) and on New Year’s Day. Customers should check the timetables for specific holiday service information. 

Modified Weekday Schedules for the Bus and Trolley Routes on the following dates: Dec. 26, 27, 28, 29, 2017. For more information, visit: www.septa.org/schedules/modified.html.

Additional Broad Street and Market Frankford Line trains will operate before and after the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Center City.

Trash/Recyclables Collection

There will be no trash and recyclables collections on Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1. Collections for the rest of the week will be delayed by one day. Here’s some useful information on recycling during the holidays.

Milk and Honey Market (45th and Baltimore): Sunday, Dec. 24: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 25: Closed; Tuesday, Dec. 26 & Sunday, Dec. 31: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Monday, Jan. 1: Closed.

Renata’s Kitchen (46th and Baltimore): Sunday, Dec. 24 & Monday, Dec. 25: Closed; Open regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Grocery, liquor stores

Mariposa Food Co-op (49th and Baltimore): Sunday, Dec. 24: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 25: Closed; Monday, Jan. 1: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

“Supreme” Shop n Bag (43rd and Walnut): Sunday, Dec. 24 & Sunday, Dec. 31: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 25 & Monday, Jan. 1: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.;

The Fresh Grocer (40th and Walnut): Open 24 hours.

The Fresh Grocer (56th and Chestnut): Sunday, Dec. 24: Regular hours (6 a.m.-12 a.m.); Monday, Dec. 25: 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits (all stores): All stores will close by 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24 and remain closed on Monday, Dec. 25. All stores will be closed on New Year’s Day (Monday, Jan. 1).
