Theo

This came yesterday, July 3, from neighbors Marilyn and Dick:

As some of you know our 14 year old in-house only cat managed to escape late night or early this morning. He is a tuxedo cat – mostly black with white marking on middle of face, chin and feet. He weighs about 13 pounds. His name is Theo (although he doesn’t often answer to his name). He is very shy – I expect he is hiding somewhere close by. If you see him (or can trap him), please call us any time. 215-901-3470 (c) or 215-748-1376 (h). Lost near 46th and Osage.

Update (July 14): Theo has been found and is back home.

Posted on 21 June 2011 by WPL

A neighbor Susan is searching for her cat:

My 15-year-old Russian Blue male cat Crumb went missing something yesterday, June 20, in the vicinity of 49th & Springfield. He is rather thin and has had some dental surgery that has made eating anything other than watered-down canned food difficult.

If you think you’ve seen Crumb please email Susan at susaniris [at] msn.com or call at 215-435-5273.

Black and white tuxedo cat found (Update: returned to owner)

Posted on 15 June 2011 by WPL

A neighbor, who lives on Melville between Spruce and Locust, emailed us with this information:

There is a black and white tuxedo cat that is on my roof. It is hiding under my deck and on the roof next door. He seems scared but doesn’t come across as feral. I am wondering if someone lost him. Details:

Black and White Tuxedo
White Nose
Yellow/Green Eyes

I live on Melville between Spruce and Locust. I imagine he climbed out of someone’s window on Melville, got here and now can’t get down.

If you lost a cat that looks like the one described above, please email: thecaretaker [at] gmail.com

Update (June 16): The cat is reunited with her owner! After reading this information the owner retrieved her cat from her neighbor’s deck.

Cat is missing from 48th & Larchwood
Tabea

Update (June 6): After walking out the door Wednesday night and disappearing, Tabea came back home Sunday, June 5.

A neighbor, Deborah, is looking for her cat missing since last night:

Our beloved old cat Tabea got out of our house at 48th and Larchwood last night (June 1) and hasn’t been seen since. She is small, about 6 pounds, with brownish brindled sides and black striped legs and tail and a buff belly.

She has white whiskers and a shaved patch under her neck. She needs daily medicine so we need to find her fast.

If you see a cat that looks like it might be her, please call us at 215-474-4081. Reward offered for her safe return.
