The Blanche A Nixon/Cobbs Creek Library will host a free, four-session Photography course led by Lori Waselchuk. Participants will learn basic digital photography and learn about composition, portraiture and reportage in a relaxing and generative space. Each class will introduce mutual aid activists who will join the art-making and share information about their projects in West Philadelphia. Our Them That Do team hopes this course will honor all the ways we are creative, and how that creativity serves us individually and collectively. The project will culminate with a pop-up exhibition that will be shown at each participating library branch. Them That Do is funded by The Velocity Fund.

Course dates and times: Wednesdays, 5:30 – 7:00 PM, May 18, May 25, June 1, June 8
