Join Philadelphia’s Mycology for a free guided mushroom walk through Cobbs Creek Park.
Philadelphia Mycology Club’s dedicated volunteers want to guide you along the path — the literal trails at Cobb’s creek, yes — and your path towards discovering the wonderful, fantastic world of fungi.
What will we find? Common mushrooms to see in July include field mushrooms that form “fairy circles,” fungi that look like underwater coral, and the HUGE Berkley’s polypore.
WHEN: Saturday, July 25, 11 AM – 1 PM
WHERE: Cobb’s Creek
Meet at Thomas Ave and Cobbs Creek Parkway
