Have fun creating nature maps of your favorite neighborhood places using felt with artist, Jihan Thomas. Join us on Saturday September 30th from 10am-12pm at Christy Rec Center, 728 S 55th St.
Cobbs Creek Art club for kids is a FREE monthly art workshop designed to express creativity and learn about nature with a focus on community building, meditation and mindfulness! The monthly workshops create space to spend time exploring the natural environment and expressing yourself through art. We’ll explore different art forms led by local artists and inspired by nature. No experience necessary, only a willingness to explore and create with neighbors and local artists in Cobbs Creek.
All kids must be accompanied by an adult and we ask adults to stay for the entire duration of the workshop to participate and experience art making with the special young person in your life.
