Halloween is right around the corner, bringing one of our favorite neighborhood traditions back to Spruce Hill!
The 28th Annual Little Tot Halloween Parade & Party is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31. Costumed tots (age 6 and under) and their families are invited to gather at 45th and Larchwood starting at 4 p.m. The parade steps off promptly at 4:30 p.m., winding through car-free neighborhood streets and finishing up with the festive Little Osage block party on the 4200 block of Osage Avenue.
Organized in a joint effort by the Spruce Hill Community Association and Osage Avenue residents, this beloved local tradition features everything from clever family costumes and pop-culture favorites to elaborate sidewalk candy spreads. At the Little Osage block party, parade participants are treated with cider and baked goods from local businesses and organizations.
Note for neighbors along the route: Please keep in mind that local roads will be temporarily closed from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the festivities.
Dust off those costumes, bring your family and friends, and come celebrate a wonderful afternoon of community fun!
Also, don’t forget to check out the West Philly Fright Registry for more fun Halloween events and trick-or-treating opportunities.
