Philadelphia Soccer 2026—the 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving as the Local Host Committee for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in partnership with the City of Philadelphia—alongside Airbnb and Mural Arts Philadelphia, will host a community block party and paint day at Christy Rec Center. Families, neighbors, and local youth are invited to enjoy free food trucks, face painting, music, and interactive soccer activities—and to help paint sections of Love of the Game, an official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Legacy Mural designed by artist Nilé Livingston.
The mural is supported by Airbnb and Vanguard, and the completed work will be installed at Pan American Academy Charter School, a K–8 dual-language IB World School founded by Congreso de Latinos Unidos. The mural design features two young soccer players celebrating the “beautiful game,” reflecting the school’s culture and youth spirit. The block party brings together families across West and Southwest Philadelphia to celebrate community, art, and soccer as excitement builds toward the FIFA World Cup 2026.
