Need COVID-19 vaccine booster? Check out these community clinics

As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in the city, public health officials remind Philadelphians to get vaccinated against the virus or get a booster shot if you were vaccinated at least six months ago. Besides CVS and Rite Aid stores, West Philly residents can get vaccinated against COVID at a number of city-run pop-up clinics:

By appointment:

COVID-19 vaccine is available by appointment only at Health Center 4 located at 4400 Haverford Ave. Appointments can be scheduled for Monday or Tuesday only, between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.. To make an appointment, please call 215.685.2933.

Walk-in clinics:

COVID-19 vaccine is available without an appointment at the following locations (please note schedule changes due to the holidays):

• Health Center 3 Annex, 4219 Chester Ave. – Open on Mondays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and Tuesdays, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Haverford Library, 5543 Haverford Ave. – Open on Mondays, 1-4 p.m. (closed on Dec. 27).
• ACANA, 5530 Chester Ave. – Open on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (closed on Dec. 22 & Dec. 29)
• Salvation Army, 5501 Market St. – Open on Fridays, 12-6 p.m. (closed on Dec. 24 & Dec. 31)
• Blackwell Library, 52nd and Sansom – Open on Fridays, 1-4 p.m. (closed on Dec. 24 & Dec. 31)
