Laura, a friendly female calico cat (black, white, & orange with a white chest) has been missing from the 4700 block of Baltimore Avenue since the weekend of June 22. She liked to hang out on the porches of 4729 and 4731 and many neighbors know her well as she often approached them and greeted them with her meow.

If you have any information about Laura please call Norma at 215-727-4271.

I wrote to Jed yesterday with suggestions for searching. Not sure if he got my email. FYI, someone posted on craigslist last week about a found tabby female at 48th & Baltimore. No photo, but the ad reads: friendly fem cat with unusual coloring, blk & grey tabby with tan areas, grey eyes, 9 lbs, no collar. Found Fri, 6/21, 8pm, and says to call Ms. Taylor at 215 .. 222 .. 8222
or 805 .. 1962. The ad is still up on CL’s Pet list. Just search on Baltimore tabby. Please keep us posted, and if the found cat isn’t yours, be sure to post a lost ad on craigslist (lost & found) and contact ACCT shelter to report ASAP.

    When you think of Laura,
    laugh, don’t cry.
I know she’d want it that way.

Everyone be sure to keep your cats indoors. Domesticated cats do not belong outdoors, especially in the city.
