The Drexel University Chamber Singers will host a night of madrigals, chansons, jesters, jugglers, sword fights and a toast to the Queen, at this year’s 28th Annual Madrigal Dinners. This year, audiences will be transported to the Elizabethan sounds, tastes, and courtly shenanigans of 1588. Join the nobles of the royal court for a dinner celebrating the defeat of the Spanish Armada.
Friday night’s feast ($14.95/pp) features light hors d’oeurves and desserts, and Saturday’s ($21.95/pp) features a full Renaissance dinner with Potage Jacqueline, Roast Capon, Poached Salmon, and more. Guests are invited to dress in their Renaissance attire, though it is not required.
