And Philly wonders why they have trouble attracting a middle class. Living in a city that lacks basic maintenance like cutting down dangerous trees isn’t most people’s idea of an ideal living situation.

Why does it seem that our beloved and ever spunky zany West Philly denizen have such the snooty organic pretentious stick-up-their-booties mentality. I mean sure, these fabo beauty style stallions dig on the right and righteous grooves: tasty vegan sensibilities, organic organizing, co-op garrish foppery, ritualistic recitations and dogs dogs dogs. **Not the dread and denial of this writer’s twitching ear catching afoul of his own forethought, but ohh, dare he, the dastard, besmirch? Sorry but why is it, perish, lord perish my pessimism, when I walk down the street, I just feel like rubbish. I feel like the only thing keeping this neuro-nerd from invisibility is a gum stuck to my Sneak. I just feel like my boring attire and countenance smashed by maniacal dreary sameness and that long distance runner called loneliness draws me heaping slings of such sweet and sordid pity from the locals. And not much of lesser consequence than a stupid inquiry by a guy made alienated by his own failings of certainty. Maybe I’m wrong. Self doubt abounds.

Email-a-tree is a program by Elisabeth Robson and Olaf Ribeiro, in conjunction with the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District.

I am sure you are right about it depending on city/state laws, might want to call your local government and see. When we had a 100 mi/hr wind blow through, each person was responsible for the litter/branches/trees coming from their yard.
