The West Craft Fest held in spring and fall at The Woodlands will again take place virtually due to the ongoing pandemic. This Saturday, Sept. 26, work by West Craft Fest’s past vendors will be featured on its Instagram page (anyone who participated in the craft fest’s 2019 events is welcome to tag their IG posts with #virtualwestcraftfest).

Shoppers are invited to follow the Fest Instagram page and the #virtualwestcraftfest hashtag to find out what vendors have been creating, including some special one-day-only discounts. This is a great opportunity to shop for holiday gifts early and support local makers during these difficult times.

The December Fest, which was held at The Rotunda before the pandemic, will most likely be online-only also. The organizers hope that they will be able to return to the Woodlands in April 2021.

The West Craft Fest‘s Spring edition was supposed to be this Saturday at The Woodlands. Unfortunately, the popular community event featuring dozens of local artists and artisans was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but folks are invited to check out the vendors’ unique offers at a “virtual craft fest” on social media. You can find lots of great Mother’s Day gift ideas there.

On Saturday the Fest’s Facebook and Instagram pages, offers, features and vendor updates will be posted with the hashtag #VirtualWestCraftFest. Dozens of local artists and artisans will again descend on the historic Woodlands cemetery grounds as part of the bi-annual West Craft Fest. The popular family-friendly event, where you can shop for unique handmade gifts (clothes, ceramics, jewelry, accessories, prints and more), will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will also feature live music and entertainment, food trucks and children’s activities.

West Craft Fest, featuring over 100 local crafters and artists, will return for the 15th time to The Woodlands (40th and Woodland) on Saturday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The spring edition of this popular bi-annual event is a great opportunity to shop for unique, handmade Mother’s Day gifts, such as artisan jewelry, handmade ceramics, clothing, accessories, prints, stationery, soaps, candles, children’s items, home wares and more.
