DESCRIPTION:Kingsessing Library - 1201 S 51st St\, Philadelphia\, PA 19143\, USA - The Kingsessing Library will host a free\, four-session Art and Illustration course led by Martha O&#8217\;Connell. Participants will play with new materials and practice techniques in drawing\, collage\, and printmaking in a relaxing and generative space. Each class will introduce mutual aid activists who will join the art-making and share information about their projects in West Philadelphia. Our Them That Do team hopes this course will honor all the ways we are creative\, and how that creativity serves us individually and collectively. The project will culminate with a pop-up exhibition that will be shown at each participating library branch. Them That Do is funded by The Velocity Fund.
