A permanent memorial plaque honoring the memory of individuals whose remains were unethically collected as part of the Samuel G. Morton Collection in the nineteenth century to be used in the name of scientific progress will be unveiled on June 19––a day selected by the Community Advisory Group.
The public is invited for a commemoration ceremony led by interfaith spiritual leaders and community members.
