DESCRIPTION: - - Join your neighbors this coming Sunday to help flip a critical state senate race from Republican to Democrat. Chris Thomas—a former construction worker\, middle school teacher\, and volunteer firefighter—is running for PA State Senate to give Berks and Montgomery County families a dedicated advocate in Harrisburg. Representing Pennsylvania Senate District 24\, this flippable seat is pivotal to breaking Republican control of the State Senate. Electing Chris will help secure a Democratic majority capable of delivering fully funded public schools\, raising the minimum wage\, and lowering daily costs for working families. Please register for the meeting here to help us with planning: https://luma.com/6yuwq3z0.  And you can donate to the Chris Thomas campaign here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/springfield-huddle The meeting is: Sunday\, October 4th from 5pm to 7pm At the home of Jeremy and Susan Karpatkin 908 S. 49th St. The meeting is sponsored by the Springfield Huddle\, a group of West Philly neighbors collaborating to improve our political climate in these crazy times. If you joined the last meeting\, you know how meaningful it is to be with like-minded neighbors who care deeply about the direction of our state and country.“ [by: West Philly Local]
