Get your appetites ready: University City Dining Days is returning next week! From Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 26, more than 25 local eateries will showcase West Philadelphia’s diverse, global culinary scene with special three-course menus.

The popular neighborhood promotion features a “3 Courses, 3 Prices” setup, offering fixed-price lunch or dinner options at $20, $30, or $40. Whether you want to revisit a long-time neighborhood staple or branch out and try something brand new, it is the perfect excuse to dine out.

While Dining Days is an incredible deal for food lovers, it serves a much larger purpose for the neighborhood economy. The mid-summer weeks can often be a challenging, slower stretch for local restaurants as students head home and vacation travel takes residents out of town.

Designed by University City District to combat this seasonal dip, Dining Days provides an economic boost right when local business owners need it most. By choosing to dine out during these 11 days, your dollar directly impacts the local kitchens, staff, and families that keep the neighborhood’s unique food landscape thriving year-round.

Who Is Participating?

The 2026 lineup features an excellent mix of classic crowd favorites and exciting new additions to the local culinary landscape.

Returning Favorites: Popular dining destinations including White Dog Cafe, Louie Louie, 48th Street Grille, Dahlak, and Dim Sum House are back on the roster.

New & Notable Additions: For 2026 UCD is introducing new cafe deals with local partners Plant and People, Ben & Jerry’s, Shibam Coffee Co., and Bulletin Bar. Also, Desi Chaat House and Santucci’s Pizza are announced as first-time participants.

Because traffic at participating spots increases substantially during this 11-day run, reservations are strongly encouraged.
