Families are invited to Smith Memorial Playground for an afternoon of free hands-on craft activities at the annual CraftNOW Create! Hosted by CraftNOW Philadelphia, children receive step-by-step instructions and demonstrations on how to create eight unique and delightful craft projects ideal for elementary-age students. This year’s CraftNOW Create features projects from the Asian Arts Initiative, The Clay Studio, Da Vinci Art Alliance, the Museum for Art in Wood, The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation.
