DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia - Philadelphia\, PA\, USA - The third annual Philly Photo Day will take place on Friday\, October 26th. On Philly Photo Day\, the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center (PPAC) invites everyone in the city to take a photograph on the same day. The photograph can be of any subject\, as long as it’s taken in Philadelphia on October 26th. Every single picture received will be printed and hung for exhibition in the Crane Arts Building in Kensington. Last year PPAC received nearly 900 images. This year’s goal is over 2\,000. In addition to the main exhibition\, PPAC will partner with Clear Channel to place 40 Philly Photo Day pictures on billboards throughout the city. PPAC will also place 200 pictures on Septa buses and trains\, creating a roving public exhibition of the work. [by: West Philly Local]
