My understanding is that the plan is to expand the curb area and reduce parking spaces at the same time.
Is this really happening?
I'm in favor of more/safer walking and biking, but why is it good to get rid of parking spaces?* We should be doing things like adding angled parked spaces on Florence and even Warrington (besides taking up less space, angled spaces generally keep exhaust away from the sidewalk which is nice if you're eating/drinking outside)…
*(assuming the answer isn't just that "cars suck" -they do, but SEPTA sucks way worse if you're in a group of 3-4 people)
