Join Poet-Tree en Motion at The Rotunda in University City on Wednesday, March 27 for a free, family-friendly evening to celebrate “her-story” with a diverse group of female performers.

Plum Dragoness will perform twice, first with her unique style of spoken-word “flowetry” and then her fusion of Chinese internal arts with folkloric dance. She will also lead a one-hour meditative movement workshop starting at 6:30pm combining yoga, tai chi, kung fu and qigong, accompanied by vocals and a water drum played by healing artist Angela Armour.

Also featured in the showcase is the rock ‘n’ roll band The Primaries, that encourages audience members to dance on stage with them! LaTreice Branson of Drum Like a Lady will keep everyone grooving with a group drumming jam session. Armour will perform again with freestyle flow and hula-hoop dancing. And singer-songwriter Autumn Meeska will play original music and covers in the styles of North and South American folk and pop on her acoustic guitar.
