Peace Day Philly 2017 – September 17-23

For the seventh consecutive year, Peace Day Philly will present multiple public programs on topics related to personal, local and/or global peace over the course of one week (September 17 – September 23).

2017’s offerings will include content rich programs on:

– Recognizing and Interrupting Racism

– Being an Interfaith Ally

– Mindful Activism

– Dialogue Across Difference

– Global Migration Crises, Local Solutions

Peace Day Philly 2017 will also include several multicultural events in collaboration with other organizations (such as the Reading Terminal Market, Penn Museum, Philadelphia Folklore Project and more), a public Peace Day program on September 21, and two concerts, one on Sept. 17 and one on Peace Day, Sept. 21.

In addition, the Philadelphia Police Department will be facilitating diverse activities related to peace throughout the week in districts across the city.
