Registration for NBW’s Summer Cycling Day Camp opens Friday, March 24th, 2017. Applications will then be available at our office and on our website, as well as at our Open House on Saturday, March 25th, 2:30pm-5pm, at 3939 Lancaster Ave.

Summer Cycling Day Camp is packed with fun and educational activities! Campers will take biking field trips to explore Philadelphia’s landmarks while learning safe urban bike-riding skills. NBW will provide each camper a bike and helmet. Campers MUST already know how to bike and be able to ride for 20 minutes without having a rest. Additionally, each camper will go through our Earn-a-Bike curriculum, where they will learn to fix up a bike that they will keep along with a lock and helmet by the end of the program!

Camp is Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. It starts July 1st and goes until late August in four two-week sessions. Each session is limited to 12 campers ages 8-14. The full cost of camp is $625 per camper to cover trip admission fees, reconditioned bicycle, helmet, lock, breakfast, and lunch. Generous scholarships are available allowing our camp to cost from $50 – $625 depending on families’ need.
