Join us as we welcome two renowned Penn psychologists to discuss their groundbreaking work in the fields of creativity, passion and perseverance. Both Angela Duckworth’s “Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance” and Scott Barry Kaufman’s “Wired to Create: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Creative Mind” were published to great acclaim this year.

In “Wired to Create” Kaufman and co-author Carolyn Gregoire offer a glimpse inside the messy minds of highly creative people, revealing the latest findings in neuroscience and psychology.

In “Grit,” pioneering psychologist Angela Duckworth shows anyone striving to succeed be it parents, students, educators, athletes, or business people that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls grit.
