The CJ Branch Arts & Music Progression Camp is a program that provides opportunities to enrich and develop the youth’s musical education. This multi-faceted program is a five week program designed for children ages 8-18. The Program caters to the art of music as well as becoming a professional musician in today’s industry. Campers will participate in a large ensemble, section rehearsals, as well as music theory class. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in classes such as Jazz Ensemble, Improvisation, Conducting, Music History, Aural Training, World Music and Vocal Techniques. The camp will include recreational activities, as well as balanced catered meals daily. Additional Tutoring in math, English and private lessons are available upon request, for an additional fee.
For five weeks, the CJ Branch Arts & Music Progression Summer Camp will cultivate these young musicians of the city and surrounding areas, into young professionals, ready to take on the music world. The purpose for this program is to give young musicians the best chance and better understanding to learn what it takes to become a professional in the music industry. We will give a firsthand look at the hard work, and dedication that comes with the territory, while providing the best possible instructions for our young musicians. At this camp we will instill lessons of peace, love, respect and progression making our Program a place where children feel comfortable to express themselves how ever need be. We have a scholarship program and other opportunities that await the children of the Music Program.
