Make visiting the Historic Strawberry Mansion, Fairmount Park’s largest historic house, part of your holiday tradition. The Porch Club of Riverton and the Garden Club of Philadelphia and Vicinity will transform the first floor of Historic Strawberry Mansion into a stunning Winter Wonderland. This year’s theme, “Make a Joyful Noise,” is inspired by songs like Let it Snow, Holly Jolly Christmas, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and others. Five rooms will reflect these timeless classics.
Join us December 14 and 15 for tea and cookies in the Banquet Room. You can also enjoy gorgeous holiday decorations, including vintage teacups, baskets, and honey on sale throughout the month. Tours are available throughout the season, giving visitors an opportunity to view the mansion’s beautiful décor as well as an impressive collection of dolls and vintage toys dating back to the 18th century.
