Foundpitbullmix1

This female pitbull terrier mix was found on Monday night near S. Saint Bernard and Florence. Here’s more information from the person who found her:

We found this nervous little black/dark brown & white pit terrier/hound mix with a pink collar, wandering on the 800 block of [South] Saint Bernard Street (between 49th & 50th just south of Baltimore) on Monday night. We fed her and our neighbors tried to take her in for the night, but she got sick and tried to escape. ACCT picked her up around 11 p.m., and she is still there. She is a young adult, about 30 pounds, is underweight, and she may have had puppies in the past year. If this is your sweet dog, please claim her at ACCT Philly as soon as possible.

The dog’s case number at ACCT is AC72751. ACCT Philly is located at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., (267) 385-3800.

Adopt a Cat: Anabel

March 3, 2016

Anabelthecat

This week’s featured adoptable cat is Anabel, an adult female medium-sized “tuxedo” cat.

Anabel is a professional cuddler – she can be found on or near you at all times. She doesn’t have many demands, just needs you to cuddle her immediately upon getting home. She will also require the use of your lap, the space by your pillow, and your back or stomach when you lie down.

Anabel2You must regularly scratch the spot between her front legs but not down any further! Also, she must purr in your ear at least ten minutes daily. If you are sad or feeling ill, she’ll find a place near you and stay there until you feel better. Finally, your undivided attention is required, so please don’t bring any other cats around. She plans on returning the favor, as she’ll be following you to any room and sleeping with you every night. But that is all. See? Anabel is not a diva!

Anabel prefers to be in a one-cat home.

She is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current with shots, treated for fleas and worms, and is litter box trained.

To adopt this cat please complete and return a PAWS adoption application to ProjectMEOWAdoptions@gmail.com or mail it to: PO Box 32078, Philadelphia, PA 19146. The adoption application is available at the Baltimore Pet Shoppe (4532 Baltimore Ave), or online. Please use number A28564499 when applying to adopt this cat.

This cat is being fostered through the partnership of Project MEOW and PAWS. For additional information, contact projectmeowadoptions@gmail.com

Adopt a Cat: Gracie

January 27, 2016

Graciethecat

This week’s featured adoptable cat is Gracie, a young female domestic short-hair medium-size cat.

Gracie’s personality type is Private Investigator. Her curiosity knows no bounds; she is always finding the hidden nooks and corners of your home. Gracie is also a part-time lover; she wants to be in the same room but gimme some space!

Classically attired in a black and white tuxedo this lady is all set for your next formal affair. In true formal fashion though she does require monogamy. No other cats, please. Other humans will be considered with an interview.

Gracie is an independent lady and quite serious about her responsibilities, however, don’t be fooled. With a little persuading of her heart, this girl opens up and just starts talking and talking and talking and then when truly at ease her freak flag flies and she bounces around like a kitten.

Gracie is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current with shots, treated for fleas and worms, and is litter box trained.

This cat is being fostered through the partnership of Project MEOW and PAWS.

To adopt Gracie, please complete and return a PAWS adoption application. It is available at the Baltimore Pet Shoppe (4532 Baltimore Ave.), or online at http://tinyurl.com/PMAdoptionApp. Application and adoption fee ($50.00) applies. Please use my number A30008400 when applying to adopt this cat.
