Here’s a chance to hear from Philadelphia District Attorney candidates – Democrat Larry Krasner (the incumbent), Carlos Vega, a retired prosecutor (D), and Chuck Peruto, a criminal defense attorney (R). All three are scheduled to participate in a public forum organized by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omega Omega Chapter.

The forum will take place online on Thursday, May 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. and will be moderated by Tamala Edwards, ABC News Anchor. Registration is required at http://bit.ly/DistrictAttorney2021

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African-American, college-educated women. The Omega Omega Chapter is the oldest graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in the Philadelphia region that has served the Philadelphia community for over 93 years. It is currently comprised of 525 college-educated women.

The co-sponsors for the event are the Black Women’s Leadership Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of South Eastern Pennsylvania and Vine Memorial Baptist Church.
