How are you coping with COVID-19? Drexel University seeking community feedback (updated)

May 11, 2020

A research team from Drexel University is seeking feedback from Philadelphia residents on how they are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim of making things easier in the near future and long term.

The research team aims to collect reliable information on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on work and health (physical and mental health) to effectively assess the needs of communities and support them better:

“We all have shown great solidarity toward one another and we hope that this extends to taking part in this study. Thank you for helping us help you! Do not hesitate to share this survey link with your friends, family and colleagues.”

The survey is open until the stay at home order is lifted in the city.

Responses to the survey will be kept confidential and anonymous.

I love the quite, the slower pace of life. It has given my a much needed pause from the rat race.
Money will be tight but I dont mind. I am very frugal.
I hope people realize how much better life is when you stop to smell the flowers, walk with your family and generally not be rushed through life.
I will miss the quite when it is gone.
Clearly I am an introvert and as happy as can be.

I am dealing with this situation quite well and I am not a home body . It never bothers me to be home and spend time with family or just myself. I pray and speak to God a lot and I think it’s something that we all could do especially when you feel anxious. I totally get that some people are probably ready to lay me out but again this is how I cope. This is WHAT I DO!! Me! I feel this gives me the strength I need to mange life
I think this is a time for all to regroup, relax and take a look at your life . I do hope that people will be more caring though all of this and I too also enjoy the quietness .

TIP: The flowers smell better without a mask! Don’t forget to breathe, everyone…
