Enterprise Center seeking community members for newly formed Neighborhood Advisory Subcommittee (NAS)

October 16, 2019

The Enterprise Center in West Philadelphia is forming a new Neighborhood Advisory Subcommittee (NAS) and inviting residents in their designated area (see map) to participate in its work.

The Enterprise Center is looking for community members who are interested in bettering their communities and working across neighborhoods, and specifically interested in:

• Connecting community members in need to resources, with a focus on housing and employment resources;

• Addressing trash, blight, and vacancy in our communities;

• Supporting neighborhood small businesses and commercial corridor revitalization, with a particular emphasis on 52nd Street.

The Enterprise Center will be accepting nominations for NAS members through Friday, Oct. 25, with elections to take place in November. You can nominate yourself or nominate a community leader who fits the criteria. To put a name in for consideration, please fill out the application here. Community members can also submit paper copies at the Center’s main office at 4548 Market Street.

NAS members will be asked to serve for a 2-year term, attend monthly subcommittee meetings, and represent community concerns to The Enterprise Center CDC and City of Philadelphia.
