Easter Egg hunts in Clark Park, St. Mary’s Church and more this weekend

Several Easter Egg hunts will be held this weekend – at local parks, schools, churches and libraries. Check out the list below for more details. If you know of more egg hunts happening this weekend feel free to post them in the comments section below.

Saturday, March 31

West Philly Egg Hunt with 10K eggs, West Philadelphia High School (4901 Chestnut St)

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Transform Church is hosting its first annual “Epic Easter Egg Hunt” this Saturday at West Philadelphia High School. More than 400 children between the ages of 1 to 10 years old, invited from the neighborhood and area schools are registered to attend. Youth will search for over 11,000 eggs (including 300 golden eggs) in both the outdoor field and inside the gym of the school. Additional activities including face painting, games, and prizes will be held just after the egg hunts. Event registration is still open to the public. Easter Egg Hunt at Clark Park (43rd and Chester)

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Renewal Presbyterian Church is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Clark Park on Saturday for kids ages 0-6 years old. Registration for the egg hunt is from 10:45-11:15 a.m. at the toddler playground. Bring your kids for crafts and fun in the park! All events are free.

Easter Egg Hunts at Walnut Street West Library (40th and Walnut)

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. & 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Friends of Walnut Street West Library is hosting annual Easter Egg hunts this Saturday – at 11:30 a.m. for pre-school children (ages 3 – 5), and at 1 p.m. for ages 6 to 12.

 

Sunday, April 1

St. Mary’s Easter Egg Hunt (3916 Locust Walk)

12:45 p.m.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church invites families for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday (April 1). The hunt begins promptly at 12:45 p.m. from the bell tower steps. BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket).
