The family that runs Manakeesh Café Bakery at 45th and Walnut are looking for their missing cat. The cat is described as a female ginger and white cat (pictured).
If you find the cat please call (215-921-2135) or bring her to Manakeesh. A free smoothie and half-dozen baklava are offered for anyone who finds her!

Is kitty missing from the restaurant, or somewhere else? Make sure to post bold flyers in the area – along streets, at every corner, with all local businesses, within a few blocks of where she is lost from. Contact Animal Control shelter (ACCT) immediately: acctphilly .org / lostpet / lostreport/) to report her lost, and post ads on craigslist (both Lost&Found and Pets sections). Search around the block as often as possible, leave water and food outside for kitty, as well as some of her used kitty litter (or her litter pan), and a piece of family clothing or towel or blanket. She is likely very close by, but hiding. If you would like to borrow a humane trap let me know.

Beatriz, did you get in touch with the folks at Manakeesh? Is it their kitty?
If not, have you found its owner, or have you posted kitty’s info around?
