Are there any updates on this poor little dog? Has the owner checked with Animal Control and the Penn Vet Hospital ER?

We have been out posting flyers and looking for him all over west philly. Some leads yesterday reported him in the area between 36th and Mantua and 42nd and Brown. Some accounts placed had him being walked on a leash by someone, while others had him running free. I any case he seemed to be alive and well. We’ve also been calling all of the veterinary hospitals within a 10 mile radius, as well as the ACCT and PSPCA. So far, no luck.

I believe the spotting near 42nd and Brown may be inaccurate. I have a miniature Australian Shepherd of my own, and I frequent that area with him, usually while he is leashed. I’ve been keeping an eye out for him and I’ve yet to see any sitings.

I will say that I haven’t seen any of the flyers yet, so you may want to get some more out there. Talk to everyone and anyone, and offer a reward if possible for his safe return home. A foster puppy of mine got lost in this area once, and he was found in three days with an extreme amount of flyers and asking around. I’ll keep my eye out for you.

Oh my god that is incredible!! I live in the area and me and my fiancee were sooo sad that your dog was missing! We kept a look out for him and wondered about him every day – it made me so sad to think of a lost dog along and injured in the city. We are so glad you got him back safe.
